Ben and the team has been very friendly and helpful in accommodating our requests to customise the safari to our needs. They were with us all the way, since the arrival to the departure.  Verified Glimpse of Tanzania’s ‘Wildebeest Migration Safari’ - a truly anmazing experience !
We have literally just returned from the best safari experience we have had to date. We have previously experienced a number of safaris in Tanzania, Kenya, Chad and C.African Republic and the service provided by Glimpse of Tanzania has simply been amazing. The safari was billed as the ‘Wildebeest Migration Safari’ and it exceeded our expectations. The standards of organisation provided by Benn and the value for money were highly satisfactory. The choice of hotels* and tented safari camps were just perfect - did Benn read our minds?? (* Arusha, Karatu and Zanzibar beach) The core of our comments are about the five-day safari experience itself. Our guide HUSSEIN was exceptional - simply because he went above and beyond what we have experienced before. With a quiet friendly manner and deep knowledge of the wildlife of Tanzania, Hussein gave us a deep personal insight into the wildlife of Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire and Lake Manyara in the varied ecosystems of each national park and game reserve. His stamina was amazing and he seemed to use a ‘sixth sense’ to seek out every example of the ‘big five’ and much more, in his local knowledge in a wilderness of thorn scrub, endless grassland and forested areas. Not only were we able to see individual animals, but multiples each day - six cheetahs, three black rhinos, large herds of elephants and of course being surrounded by the thousands of wildebeest and zebras in the migration. (The migration is not as portrayed on TV - it takes real skill in finding where the masses are moving each day.) We quickly became a ‘team’ in spotting animals reliably with eagle-eyes from minimal visual clues at a distance. It was all truly memorable and we now need to begin downloading the over 3,000 frames and videos! ( Please note: in one particular helpful facility, GoT provided an additional step for getting in and out of our vehicle - a nice personalised touch which was much appreciated.) All in all, for anyone considering a first-time safari, or a returning devotee, we would recommend Glimpse of Tanzania and this safari experience unreservedly anytime to anyone !!

 Verified Magical time in Tanzania on a high quality photo safari
I spent 12 days solo in Tanzania with Raymond Yonah as my guide. My goal was photography and getting high quality photographs of cats, wildebeests (especially calves and other wildlife. Raymond was exceptional. Quality service and professional guiding and lots of patience with me as I wanted to spend a long time with each encounter to ensure quality photos. He made sure I had good lines of sight and light and detail oriented for everything else on the trip. This was a trip of a life time and perfect in every way.  Verified Amazing and well organized Safari with highly skilled Guide
Amazing Tour, well planned by a super responsive organizer. Our Safari-Jeep was in a perfect condition, equiped with loads of water, power plugs and enough space to fit for 6 people + luggage. The tour was operated by Hassan, who was a hell of guide! Besides beeing extremly friendly he knows where to go to see all the BIG 5 - which took us only 3 days to complete. And even if we were stuck to the mud or had a puncture he quickly knows how to handle the situation and got us back safe & sound. There is not much to say about our safari with Glimpse of Tanzania - it was amazing! Hassan (our driver and guide) was not only super knowledgeable and passionate about the nature and animals, but also very friendly/polite and a safe driver.  Verified Best safari ever. The Big Five up close.
We went on a 5-day safari tour with our fantastic guide Abduli, organized by "The Glimpse of Tanzania". We were completely satisfied and absolutely thrilled by the number and variety of animals we spotted. We were very, very lucky on our tour, of course there are absolutely no guarantees when it comes to wild nature. And yet we experienced and saw more than we could have dreamed of. All expectations and hopes were exceeded. Abduli was simply world class. We owe him a fabulous and absolutely dreamlike experience that we as a family will never forget in our lives! We had so many highlights on our safari, they were almost countless. Abduli is extremely professional, he is very well organized and incredibly friendly. He simply thought of everything, was always concerned about our well-being and always oriented himself towards our needs and wishes. He had excellent connections and knew great spots. We were always in the best positions, super close to the animals (really unbelievable!) and had the best viewing angles with our vehicle. Somehow Abduli always had a good intuition about the animals' path. He always behaved with absolute respect for nature, animals and people. He was very considerate in his driving style, he knew his vehicle well and knew how to handle it very well. For example, Abduli knew exactly how to handle difficult roads and ditches or holes. He stuck to the rules exactly. For example, when turning the vehicle on the road, he was careful not to cross the paths and thus not to change nature. We saw things differently with other companies. Every morning the vehicle was cleaned, the rubbish removed, fresh water bottles ready, the windows cleaned for a perfect view. All of this happened in the background without us noticing. Our trips were long and so Abduli also took care of the vehicle every evening to prepare everything for the next day. And he always had kind words and interest in us, even after a very long day. He communicated with our landlords before and after our safari to ensure everything went smoothly, we simply didn't have to worry about anything. He arranged everything from start to finish, no matter what - Abduli took care of it. We even had a visit from Abduli and Shaban beforehand to get a quick introduction to the safari tour. Our large suitcases were stored in the company's office during the tour and later brought directly to our accommodation (thanks again for that)! Just a relief, so that we could really relax and be unburdened. Really a fantastic service from Shaban and his people. There was a fridge in the car, cold water bottles and cola and juice were always available. Abduli had a lot of knowledge and explained a lot of things to us about the animals and national parks, and much more. His German is very, very good and he was able to explain even complex things well in German. He adapted completely to our pace, wishes and needs. We were unable to leave at the agreed time for two days, he waited patiently until our upset stomachs got better. Nothing was ever a problem for him, he was just understanding. How lucky "the Glimpse of Tanzania" is to have such a competent guide in his company. All our friends and extended family were also delighted with the fantastic photos that we were able to take and show. Some of them have been on safaris before. But none of them have seen such rare animals and scenes as we have, and so so so close at that! To name just a few of our highlights: Elephants bathing and playing; a family of giraffes that were so close to the car that we could hardly believe it. Elephants with their tiny calves right next to the car. Not only could we count every wrinkle on them, we could hear them chewing, hear their ears flapping. Close enough to touch. The baby zebras and their mothers, herds of wildebeest further than the eye could see. A leopard(!) eating an aardwolf in a tree! So close, we got goosebumps. Hunting (!) lions (in Lake Manyara National Park. They are generally only seen very rarely here - and then on the hunt!). Lion families right by the side of the road. Monkeys playing around the car. And then a hunting hyena that killed a wildebeest and ate it alive. That was very hard and we were all left breathless. What a cruel sight, but that is nature. But it is incredibly rare to see it on a safari tour. We were incredibly lucky, really. Seeing the Big Five (in full) is not something you can take for granted and was a dream come true for us. These descriptions are not intended to set other people's expectations too high and not to put additional pressure on the guides. But these moments were too extraordinary not to mention them here. They are very, very rare and we were incredibly lucky. But the fact that we experienced these moments from these angles and up close is thanks to Abduli. As mentioned, he was meticulous about being considerate of nature and the animals. He didn't block the way for others, didn't speed, and kept a safe distance from the animals when parking. He knew his way around amazingly well (the Serengeti is almost 15,000km2, there are no road signs, adventurous roads, none of that was a problem for him), and knew the quickest and best routes if there were any reports. The accommodation in the Serengeti was a dream come true. The roaring of lions and hyenas at night was not uncommon (really in the thick of it rather than just being there). In the morning, impalas in front of the "tent" entrance. They were luxury tents, we felt so welcome and well looked after. Very friendly staff, always helpful and friendly. Thank you Abduli for this memory of a lifetime. Our family has had experiences together that not everyone gets to have and we couldn't be more grateful. Best safari ever Price quality simply the best. The car was outdated but everything was there and took us where we needed to be. We had everything arranged by Benn. From plane tickets, taxis, guides, accommodations, any parks, you name it. Everything perfectly organized, thanks Benn. We had Khalid as a guide, just great. Knew to name and show us all the animals, knew how to find all the animals. We even spotted the Big Five. Thanks again Khalid. We visited Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, both of which are highly recommended. There we stayed in a luxurious tent camp among the wild animals. Really fantastic.  Verified Great 6 night/5 day safari with an excellent guide
We organised a custom 6 night package with Benn which included 5 days of game drives. The communication in advance was via email and was very good. Benn was able to accomodate our requests for 5 full days of safari across 3 different parks as well as giving us 4 different options for the accomodation on each night. We were celebrating our honeymoon and Benn coordinated with the accomodation who all laid on special touches in the rooms and at dinner which made it really memorable. Our guide (Khaled) was excellent, he had a fantastic knowledge about the country, the parks and the animals. He also worked tirelessly to ensure we had a great time, he was always ready to stop no matter what we thought we had spotted and wait until we were ready to move on. On one day we were out for a full 12hr game drive which was amazing. The accomodation was very nice and Glimpse of Tanzania took care of everything from waiting to pick us up from the airport through to dropping us back off at the end of the trip. We would really recommend using them for any trips to Tanzania!
