In just 9 days you will be immersed deep into Africa’s culture and the diverse wildlife in Tanzania’s major national parks. The itinerary starts with a Maasai cultural experience in Northern Tanzania and ends with a luxury stay in the spicy islands of Zanzibar.
Arrival in Arusha
Your journey begins upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). A warm welcome awaits you as your safari guide transfers you to your lodge in Arusha for your first night in Tanzania. Relax, enjoy the stunning views of Mount Meru, and receive a safari briefing to prepare for your upcoming adventure.

Day 1: Tarangire National Park – Elephant Kingdom
After breakfast, head towards Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and dramatic baobab trees. As you game drive through the park, encounter herds of elephants, lions, and a variety of bird species soaring above the floodplains. Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch in the park before continuing your safari through Tarangire’s wilderness.

Day 2: Serengeti National Park – The Great Plains
Drive through the Ngorongoro highlands and into the Serengeti one of the most famous wildlife reserves on earth. Experience the expansive savannah, where herds of wildebeest and zebras roam, and predators like lions and cheetahs stalk their prey. Your game drive brings you face-to-face with Tanzania’s iconic wildlife in an awe-inspiring landscape.

Day 3: Full-Day in Serengeti
Spend the day exploring the Serengeti from sunrise to sunset. In the early hours, encounter lions on the hunt, while the afternoon brings the possibility of spotting migrating herds of wildebeest and gazelles. The Serengeti offers a chance to witness one of the most profound wildlife spectacles on Earth—the annual migration of millions of animals across the plains.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater – Natural Wonder
Early morning, head to the Ngorongoro Crater, descending into its lush bowl filled with wildlife. This unique ecosystem, known as the “Garden of Eden,” is home to a large population of animals, including rhinos, lions, zebras, and buffalo. Enjoy a picnic lunch and continue the game drive, spotting animals grazing in the grassy plains or relaxing by the waterholes.
Overnight: Karatu or Crater Rim
Day 5: Fly to Zanzibar – Coastal Charm
After breakfast, transfer to Arusha Airport for a flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, you’ll be whisked away to your luxurious beach resort on the northern or eastern coast of the island. Spend the rest of the day soaking in the serene atmosphere of Zanzibar’s tropical beaches, with their crystal-clear waters and powdery white sand.

Zanzibar Escape: Days 6-9
Upon arrival in Zanzibar, spend your days immersed in the island’s culture and natural beauty.
Zanzibar Spice Tour: Learn about the island’s rich history of spice cultivation.
Jozani Forest Visit: Observe the rare Red Colobus monkeys and explore the lush mangrove ecosystem.
Beach: Relax on the pristine beaches or indulge in water sports
Safari Blue Full-day dhow boat tour through Zanzibar’s Menai Bay, offering snorkeling, swimming, seafood lunch, and the chance to explore pristine islands, sandbanks, and vibrant coral reefs.
Stone Town Walking Tour: Explore the narrow alleys, Arabian architecture, and bustling bazaars of Stone Town. Enjoy an optional rooftop lunch or dinner overlooking the ocean and historical buldings.
