My goal was photography and getting high quality photographs of cats, wildebeests (especially calves and other wildlife. Raymond was exceptional. Quality service and professional guiding and lots of patience with me as I wanted to spend a long time with each encounter to ensure quality photos. He made sure I had good lines of sight and light and detail oriented for everything else on the trip. This was a trip of a life time and perfect in every way. Amazing and well organized Safari with highly skilled Guide Amazing Tour, well planned by a super responsive organizer. Our Safari-Jeep was in a perfect condition, equiped with loads of water, power plugs and enough space to fit for 6 people + luggage. The tour was operated by Hassan, who was a hell of guide! Besides beeing extremly friendly he knows where to go to see all the BIG 5 - which took us only 3 days to complete. And even if we were stuck to the mud or had a puncture he quickly knows how to handle the situation and got us back safe & sound. Amazing experience - we saw all Big Five! There is not much to say about our safari with Glimpse of Tanzania - it was amazing! Hassan (our driver and guide) was not only super knowledgeable and passionate about the nature and animals, but also very friendly/polite and a safe driver. Best Safari ever. The Big Five hautnah. Wir unternahmen eine 5-tägige Safari-Tour mit unserem fantastischen Guide Abduli, organisiert von „The Glimpse of Tansania“. Wir waren rundum zufrieden und absolut begeistert von der Vielzahl und Varianz der gespotteten Tiere. Wir hatten zwar auch sehr sehr viel Glück auf unserer Tour, natürlich gibt es für die wilde Natur absolut keine Garantien. Und doch erlebten und sahen wir mehr, als wir uns erträumen konnten. Jegliche Erwartungen und Hoffnungen wurden übertroffen. Abduli war einfach weltklasse. Ihm verdanken wir einen sagenhaftes und absolut traumhaftes Erlebnis, dass wir als Familie nie mehr in unserem Leben vergessen werden! Wir hatten so viele Highlights auf unserer Safari, sie waren fast unzählbar. Abduli ist ausgesprochen professionell, er ist bestens organisiert und unglaublich freundlich. Er bedachte einfach alles, war stets um unser Wohlergehen bemüht und orientierte sich immer nach unseren Bedürfnissen und Wünschen. Er war exzellent vernetzt, wusste grandiose Spots. Wir waren immer in den besten Positionen, super nah an den Tieren (wirklich unglaublich!) und hatten mit unserem Fahrzeug wirklich die besten Blickwinkel. Irgendwie hatte Abduli immer eine gute Intuition, wie der Weg der Tiere verläuft. Dabei verhielt er sich stets absolut rücksichtsvoll gegenüber Natur, Tier und Mensch. Er war in seinem Fahrstil sehr rücksichtsvoll, er kannte sein Fahrzeug genau und wusste bestens damit umzugehen. Zum Beispiel schwierig zu fahrende Straßen und Gräben, oder Löcher wusste Abduli genau zu nehmen. Dabei hielt er sich genau an die Regeln. Zum Beispiel achtete er auch beim Wenden des Fahrzeugs auf der Straße darauf, die Wege wirklich absolut nicht zu überschreiten und so die Natur nicht zu verändern. Das sahen wir bei anderen Firmen auch anders. Jeden Morgen war das Fahrzeug gereinigt, der Müll entfernt, frische Wasserflaschen parat, die Fenster geputzt für den perfekten Durchblick. Das lief alles im Hintergrund, ohne dass wir etwas davon mitbekamen. Unsere Trips gingen lang und so kümmerte sich Abduli jeden Abend zusätzlich noch um das Fahrzeug, um alles für den nächsten Tag vorzubereiten. Und immer hatte er freundliche Worte und Interesse für uns, selbst nach einem sehr langen Tag. Er kommunizierte mit unseren Vermietern vor und nach unserer Safari, für einen reibungslosen Ablauf, wir mussten uns einfach um nichts kümmern oder sorgen. Er regelte alles von Anfang bis Ende, egal was es gab-Abduli kümmerte sich darum. Wir bekamen sogar vorher Besuch von Abduli und Shaban, um kurz eine Einführung für die Safari-Tour zu erhalten. Unsere großen Koffer wurden während der Tour im Büro der Firma gelagert und uns später direkt an unsere anschließende Unterkunft gebracht (vielen Dank auch dafür nochmal)! Einfach eine Erleichterung, sodass wir wirklich entlastet und entspannt sein konnten. Wirklich ein grandioser Service von Shaban und seinen Leuten. Im Auto gab es einen Kühlschrank, kalte Wasserflaschen und Cola und Saft war stets verfügbar. Abduli hatte ein großes und breites Wissen und erklärte uns viele Dinge zu den Tieren und Nationalparks, uvm. Sein Deutsch ist sehr sehr gut und er konnte uns selbst komplexe Zusammenhänge gut auf deutsch erklären. Er passte sich vollständig unserem Tempo, Wünschen und Bedürfnissen an. Wir konnten zwei Tage nicht zur vereinbarten Zeit los, er wartete geduldig bis es den verstimmten Mägen besser ging. Nie war etwas ein Problem für ihn, er hatte nur Verständnis. Welch ein Glück „the Glimpse of Tansania“ hat, solch einen kompetenten Guide zu seiner Firma zu zählen. Auch all unsere Freunde und weitere Familie waren begeistert von den fantastischen Fotos, die wir schießen konnten und gezeigt haben. Einige von ihnen haben schon Safaris gemacht. Aber niemand von ihnen hat so seltene Tiere und Szenen wie wir gesehen, noch dazu so so so nah! Um nur einige unserer Highlights zu nennen: Badende und spielende Elefanten; eine Giraffenfamilie, die so nah am Auto war, dass wir es kaum fassen konnten. Elefanten mit ihren winzigen Kälbern direkt am Auto dran. Nicht nur konnten wir jede Falte von ihnen zählen, wir konnten sie kauen hören, das Schlackern der Ohren hören. Zum Greifen nah. Die Zebrababys und ihre Mamis, Gnuherden weiter als das Auge reichte. Ein Leopard(!) der einen Erdwolf im Baum fraß! So nah, wir bekamen Gänsehaut. Jagende (!) Löwen (im Lake Manyara Nationalpark. Hier sind sie grundsätzlich wohl nur sehr selten zu sehen -und dann auch noch auf der Jagd!). Löwenfamilien direkt am Wegesrand. Spielende Äffchen, rund ums Auto herum. Und dann auch noch eine jagende Hyäne, die ein Gnu erlegte und bei lebendigem Leib fraß. Das war sehr hart und uns stockte allen der Atem. Was für ein grausamer Anblick, aber das ist die Natur. Aber auf einer Safari-Tour wahnsinnig selten zu sehen. Wir hatten unglaubliches Glück, wirklich. Die Big Five (vollständig) zu sehen ist keine Selbstverständlichkeit und war für uns ein wahrgewordener Traum. Diese Schilderungen sollen Erwartungen von anderen nicht zu hoch stecken und den Druck auf die Guides nicht zusätzlich erhöhen. Aber diese Momente waren zu außergewöhnlich, um sie hier nicht zu erwähnen. Sie sind sehr sehr selten und wir hatten wahnsinniges Glück. Doch dass wir diese Momente aus den Blickwinkeln und in der Nähe erlebten, ist der Verdienst von Abduli. Wie erwähnt achtete er aber penibel auf Rücksicht gegenüber der Natur und den Tieren. Er versperrte anderen nicht den Weg, raste nicht, hielt beim Parken gebührenden Abstand zu den Tieren. Er kannte sich erstaunlich gut aus (die Serengeti hat knapp 15.000km2, keine Straßenschilder, abenteuerliche Straßen, alles kein Problem für ihn), kannte die schnellsten und besten Wege, falls es Meldungen gab. Die Unterkunft in der Serengeti war ein wahrgewordener Traum. Löwen- und Hyänengebrüll in der Nacht waren keine Seltenheit (wirklich mittendrin statt nur dabei). Am Morgen Impalas vor dem „Zelt“Eingang. Es waren Luxuszelte, wir fühlten uns so willkommen und gut umsorgt. Sehr liebenswürdiges Personal, stets bemüht und freundlich. Danke Abduli für diese Lebenserinnerung. Unsere Familie hat Erlebnisse miteinander gesammelt, die nicht jedem vergönnt sind und wir könnten nicht dankbarer sein. Danke Glimpse of Tansania und Benn für die ganze Organisation im Voraus.

Best safari ever Best safari ever Price quality simply the best. The car was outdated but everything was there and took us where we needed to be. We had everything arranged by Benn. From plane tickets, taxis, guides, accommodations, any parks, you name it. Everything perfectly organized, thanks Benn. We had Khalid as a guide, just great. Knew to name and show us all the animals, knew how to find all the animals. We even spotted the Big Five. Thanks again Khalid. We visited Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, both of which are highly recommended. There we stayed in a luxurious tent camp among the wild animals. Really fantastic. Great 6 night/5 day safari with an excellent guide We organised a custom 6 night package with Benn which included 5 days of game drives. The communication in advance was via email and was very good. Benn was able to accomodate our requests for 5 full days of safari across 3 different parks as well as giving us 4 different options for the accomodation on each night. We were celebrating our honeymoon and Benn coordinated with the accomodation who all laid on special touches in the rooms and at dinner which made it really memorable. Our guide (Khaled) was excellent, he had a fantastic knowledge about the country, the parks and the animals. He also worked tirelessly to ensure we had a great time, he was always ready to stop no matter what we thought we had spotted and wait until we were ready to move on. On one day we were out for a full 12hr game drive which was amazing. The accomodation was very nice and Glimpse of Tanzania took care of everything from waiting to pick us up from the airport through to dropping us back off at the end of the trip. We would really recommend using them for any trips to Tanzania!

Expérience Incroyable! Nous avons fait l’ascension du Kilimandjaro et l’expérience a été incroyable. En amont, Benn nous a accueilli dès l’aéroport, tout nous a été parfaitement expliqué. Les guides sont très pros, les sherpas sont également très sympas. Pas de place à l’improvisation, tout est parfaitement maîtrisé. Les campements sont montés à notre arrivé sur chaque camp, dédicace au cuisinier qui ne nous a jamais servi deux fois le même repas et la nourriture et très bonne. Nous avons eu un soucis de tente (indépendant de leur volonté) et ils ont su réagir et nous o t fait livrer une autre tente dès le lendemain. Je ne peux que recommander à mes amis! C’est une expérience incroyable et inoubliable. Encore merci.
