DAY TOUR
A guide will pick you up from your hotel to the small town of Boma. At this junction, you will hit a gravel road to Kikuletwa or Chemka Hotspring. It’s a 70kms trip from Arusha town to Kikuletwa hot spring. The guide will remind you to pack your swimming costumes. You will spend a day there enjoying the crystal-clear bluish water with green vegetation reflection.
THE HOT SPRING
Chemka hot spring is an oasis of geothermal warm water that bubbles from underground. It is surrounded by a thick forest with birds and their nests. In the spring you can spot monkeys around the forest. The Chemka Hot Springs is an ideal place to ease those tired bodies from Kilimanjaro hiking. It is a perfect refreshment point for a day trip, and the warm blue water invites you to, swim or explore.
The underground geo-thermally warmed water is constantly circulating and is therefore very fresh, clear, and clean. It’s a very pleasant place to spend a couple of hours with family or to relax after a safari too.
